We have had the privilege of working with some great opening cover bands for our tribute over the years, but I have to say there was something very special that night at El Mocambo in late November of 2024.  The irony here is the name of the band which is incredibly catchy and witty.  Karen and The Hayters, but trust me the last thing this band would have is haters lol.  From the minute these guys hit the stage it was cover hit after cover hit with high energy, incredible vocals and harmonies,  and they totally engage their audience.  The talent from each of them is undeniable and they have such a great time up there.  I watched from the second floor and was just drawn to the stage with their presence.   They played a fantastic setlist which would appeal to a very wide demographic and even Christine their super solid drummer sings full songs behind the kit.  This is one of the toughest things to do as a drummer and she made it effortless.  Add in the rest of the members and you have a powerhouse cover band I would recommend to anyone!  To top it off they are super nice people with no ego or attitude.  I would 100% recommend booking these rockstars for any type of venue, because whether they play to 20 people or 20,000 they will mesmerize that crowd! 

I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Karen and the Hayters several times, and I now make a point of attending any local show they play. This is real rock and roll-full of joy, energy, and fire. Karen doesn’t just go through the motions; she feels the music deeply and delivers it with professionalism and passion. Her song choices are excellent, seamlessly mixing crowd-pleasing hits that fill the dance floor with those magical gems we’d forgotten we knew by heart.

I recommend Karen and the Hayters without hesitation. And I don't like much.
 

 We booked Karen and the Hayters to play for a small event we were planning for our 50th Wedding Anniversary.  My husband got their name from a friend in the music industry.  Karen and my husband communicated about the type of music we liked and found we were a good fit.  Their price for the evening was very reasonable for the value they added to our party.

Karen and her band arrived early to set up and were ready to play exactly when we requested.  As soon as they started playing, I knew we were going to have a great time.  Karen and the Hayters put on a great show, played all the songs we love and had everyone up and dancing!  It made our evening all the more special.  We would highly recommend Karen and the Hayters for an event.  It will elevate it to another level!  Thanks so much to Karen and Hayters.  Love you guys!

I have been to several venues where Karen and The Hayters have played including

a BIG 60 th BIRTHDAY BASH last October 2025.

All I have say is these guys are 10/10/10 as singers and as band players. Every

time we meet up with this fantastic Band we have a BLAST.

They always get everyone up dancing, singing and laughing with all their great

renditions of songs from yesteryear.

I now follow them on Instagram so I can make sure I go to where they play

because I am guaranteed a great night of FUN and DANCING.

Karen and the Hayters are a great band—fun, interactive and versatile. With three singers they cover a wide variety of songs from different genres and decades.I particularly like that they perform songs you don’t hear from other bands. They’re not just your typical cover band. They can read the crowd and adjust their set list on the fly to make sure everyone has the best time and keeps dancing and singing along. 

Great selection of songs played by warm people with big hearts. No pretense, no airs, just good songs for the people.
